Introduction：

Antifreeze freezing point tester is a precision optical instrument for measuring the freezing point of antifreeze. Its basic principle is to apply the total reflection critical angle method to measure the refractive index of the solution, and then calibrate the concentration of the measured liquid and its performance. The measured results can be used to know the freezing point of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol-based antifreeze system and the freezing point of automobile front window glass cleaning fluid; it can also be used to detect the specific gravity of electrolyte in lead-acid battery and the usage status, with temperature compensation device included to ensure accurate measurement at 10℃~30℃ ambient temperature, clear scale and high precision.

Usage method:

1. Open the cover and carefully wipe the inspection prism with a soft cloth;
2. Take a few drops of the solution to be tested and place them on the detection prism. Gently close the cover plate to avoid the formation of bubbles and allow the solution to spread all over the surface of the prism. Then, insert the instrument into the light plate;
3. Aim at the light source or bright spot, observe the field of view through the eyepiece, and turn the eyepiece to adjust the handwheel;
4. Make the blue white boundary of the field of view clear. The scale value of the boundary line is the concentration of the solution.
